Journey
I first heard Journey back in 1981. A buddy of mine had the Escape tape and let me borrow it.
I immediately fell in Love with their music. I can remember wearing out 3 of my own Escape tapes.
After hearing Esacpe I had to hear more of their music. So I bought Captured and I was hooked.
Since then I have bought every Journey tape/Cd they have. Escape is still the best in my opinion.
After I graduated in 1983, I went to my first concert, with my buddy Jim (the one who introduced me to Journey).
It was the Oregon Grand Slam, in Eugene,ORAutzen Stadium. Performing was Bryan Adams, then Sammy Hagar, with Journey closing the show. It was GREAT!!
We also went to see Journey again in 1986 at Memorial Coliseum in Portland,OR. Another Great Show.

**Steve Perry is unfortunately no longer a member of Journey and will not be touring with them. The new lead singer is Steve Augeri.
